Be Nimble

In the training, instructional design, and video businesses, we're very dependent on technology to present our work. There are times when technology lets us down. We comfort ourselves by saying, "Well, we're nothing if we're not nimble." Though I've been using that quote for years, I couldn't find a source for it. I did find this quote from author Dr. Mridha. Add "be nimble" to your toolbox in order to succeed.

Someone asked me, "What's with the guy jumping over a candle?" There's an old English nursery rhyme which goes, "Jack, be nimble. Jack, be quick. Jack jumped over the candlestick." So when I want to illustrate being nimble, I think of old, nimble Jack.

Happy 2018!
